Can I use my e-mail address as my username when applying for a new account?

No. You may not use an e-mail address as your username. Generally, you may choose any username you like, provided that it is not being used already, is at least 6 characters in length, and does not contain prohibited characters. E-mail addresses are not allowed as usernames because they contain "@" signs. Dashes, underscores and periods are allowed, however, the username cannot contain spaces. We strongly recommend that you use the same username for each jurisdiction for which you are applying so that you can use the same username to manage all jurisdictions together.
